A Visionary’s Tale

I have failed many many times in my life; however, my failures have led me to many successes. Through my failures I was able to learn more about myself and to become steadfast in who I am as a being. Someone who listens then responds, compassionate, forgiving, one who has learned to let go in order to show true unconditional love (I know it is hard, so remember this, anything that is worthy in life will not come easy or else everyone would be doing it). Gratitude is the strength that carries me.

Funny story: One day I was outside my old job at the hospital waiting to be picked up. I sat across the main entrance on the one bench just daydreaming and suddenly I bursted out laughing at what I had just envisioned so loudly I quick grabbed my phone and put it to my ear, so that no one would think I am crazy. Who cares what others think, right? At the time I did, and now as I get older I have learned to care less about the thoughts of others and live more. I continue to break free of the chains that cage me. I also got tired of waiting for someone to come with me, so I decided I make my life happen and I will wait no more! You can too!! So I booked that trip and did the one act that has changed my life forever. On my way home I cried (I did not want to leave hahaha) and made a promise to treat myself every year for my birthday with a vacation. I will cross off everything that I have on my fear bucket list to enable me to continue to push through my comfort zones continuing to grow. I am worthy! i am capable! I am enough!

[Rewind a few years] I began my journey when I accepted the precepts (2017) at the Temple (Buddhist). I am now apart of the community (sanga) of lay people. Here I learned meditation from the nuns [who live at the Temple] and the traveling monks [Tibetan] that visited.

[Fast forward a few years] Eventually I came back to my mat for the first time in many years. I knew my yoga practice will alleviate my pain mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Through yoga I was able to release a lot of emotional + mental stress thus eliminating 35 lbs the first year I was consistent with my practice. Physically, I am able to move in ways that I have not been able to move since a child. Healing myself seems easier and I am more at peace with myself than I have been my whole life (at least in this life). My principles + teachings reflect how I changed my life through discipline, consistency, and compassion. I am where I am because this is where I need to be. We must let go and accept the beauty in the process to cease the suffering. Everything is a choice. I choose to practice what I preach to help those by inspiring them to do better, to be the light at the end of the tunnel guiding the beings that are called to me. This is the part of the journey to opening up my business and sharing my knowledge with all of you though different services I offer.

I completed my 200 hr YTT in 2022. I am also a member of Yoga Alliance. Shortly after obtaining my certificate for yoga I went into Life Coaching where I got my Advanced Certified Coach Certificate through Lumia in May of 2023. I am also in the process of becoming credentialed/accredited with the ICF (International Coaching Federation) in my profession as a Life Coach. I also take up courses to maintain my continuing education with Yoga Alliance. I am grateful for this journey!

In my spare time my daily practice includes, meditation, yoga, going to the gym, reading, journaling, visualizing, spending time with nature hiking/beach, traveling, skydiving, and learning through experiences.

The teacher is always a student until he is a master; therefore, I am a student first, teacher second, and master always.

The journey has just begun for me and maybe for you. Let’s go together. I’ll guide you through.

Be a Warrior.
